As Catholics we strive to know, love and serve God. The goal of High School Youth Nights is to teach the Catholic Faith enabling youth to know Christ and His Church. The emphasis is on knowledge which will enable youth to better love and serve Christ in their lives. Pope John Paul the Great has called us to a new evangelization in which we teach the Gospel message in a way that youth will respond. Our format reflects this call of new evangelization: Typical Youth Night format (Sunday nights): High School Youth should be involved in Christian Education all four years of high school. Youth Nights are open to public and private school youth. Youth Nights not only include education but a chance to build friendships, worship God and discuss the Faith and how it relates to everyday life and how we can live out our Faith. Youth Nights rotate on a 4 year cycle. There is not a separate curriculum for each grade, instead all grades learn the same topic each night and by attending all four years youth receive the full curriculum. The curriculum is broken up into four sections: Apologetics (Understanding the Faith), Faith and Morals, Sacred Scripture, Church History / Life of the Saints. Each year youth will learn more about each of these topics. Youth Nights begin in August and finish in May. All High School youth are welcome to join us at Youth Nights at any time. If you would like to come regularly please fill out the high school registration form.
